In 2000 he became Director of Animal and Bylaw Services Bill had a vision of moving the focus from enforcement to a broader goal of achieving and maintaining compliance to the City\u2019s bylaws, The areas of priority have been activities that effect public health and safety, The focus was to reduce the number or aggressive incidents involving dogs, increase the return to owner rates for both dogs and cats and work towards becoming a zero kill municipality. Bill is now retired but is called upon to provide support to organizations such as the caacQ<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #9e1d21; padding-bottom: 10px; line-height: 28px;\">Toni Andr\u00e9a Belschner<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caacq.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Toni-Andrea-Belschner.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #45402c; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">An attorney and a mediator who has been involved in animal issues for over 20 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #45402c; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Has been a member of several boards of administration for many non-profit organizations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #45402c; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Is interested in ethics, moral dilemmas and how they can be reconciled in an ever-evolving world. <\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #9e1d21; padding-bottom: 10px; line-height: 28px;\">Darlene Cheechoo<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"    width: 40%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.caacq.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Darlene-5.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #45402c; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Currently, Ms. Cheechoo is the Chief of the Cree Nation of Waskaganish. <\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #45402c; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Prior to this role, Darlene was the Chairperson\/President of the Board of Compensation\/CREECCO. <\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #45402c; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa; Bachelor of Education from Queen\u2019s University; Common Law and Civil Law from the University of Ottawa and her Masters of Law at SWU in California. <\/p>\n<p><!-- \n\n<h2 style=\"color: #9e1d21; padding-bottom: 10px; line-height: 28px;\">Denise Loiselle<\/h2>\n\n --><br \/>\n<!-- <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/denise-photo.jpg\" width=\"349\" height=\"233\" \/> --><br \/>\n<!-- \n\n<p style=\"color: #45402c; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Holder of a Master's degree in public administration, in municipal management (ENAP-2011) and a training in the general management of a municipality (UMQ-2012). Author of a memoir on Bill 54, \"Law to improve the legal status of animals\" (2015).
